    Inge and her husband Phil have four children between them, and they play a central role in supporting people in the Illawarra. Inge is a registered nurse and works in management. Inge’s background in health and management gives her a unique perspective on charitable work.

Aussie Aid & Illawarra Community Care’s Board of Directors, Jason Kent, Inge Garvan, and Victor Abela, together with a range of external consultants, have a broad range of qualifications and skills ranging from social welfare, child protection, education, health services, work health and safety, and business. Together, the Board and consultants, steer Aussie Aid and Illawarra Community Care and keep the charity accountable to its vision, goals, and values.
